The Dangers of Toothpaste ...

Most people don’t realize it, but toothpaste is probably THE most dangerous “health” product out there. Many include artificial colors and flavors for which there is growing international concern. Most include fluoride which is why toothpaste is required to have a poison warning in the United States. There is also a growing understanding that fluoride does not prevent cavities; more and more dentists now oppose it and it's NEVER been approved by the FDA!  Use of fluoride is old and flawed science.

What you don't know really can hurt you ...

But even “healthy” toothpastes have their problems. For instance, they include abrasives that may scrub away food but they can damage the teeth as well. They also have glycerin which coats the teeth so thoroughly that the teeth are unable to pull minerals from the saliva for re-mineralization. In other words, teeth are naturally supposed to keep strengthening and rebuilding themselves, but we prevent them from doing so.

How safe is YOUR toothpaste?

On top of this, some toothpastes may include anti-bacterial components, which are extremely negative ingredients to introduce into your mouth. For example, triclosan is a broad-spectrum antibiotic found in many toothpastes. Most people think this is a good thing, because they think bacteria, in general, are bad.  But bacteria are absolutely essential to your health, as long as you’re promoting the friendly bacteria and eliminating the unfriendly bacteria.  Antibiotics like triclosan in toothpaste and soap actually wipe out entire bacterial colonies, good and bad. And unfortunately, the unfriendly bacteria are the first to replenish.

Safe Teeth is the revolutionary prebiotic tooth cleaning/repair and oral care product line from PURe Chemistry -- the very FIRST of their kind -- replacing traditional toothpaste as natural products without anything artificial; without fluoride, without abrasives, without glycerin, and without antibiotics. In fact, these products feed the friendly bacterial colonies needed for your mouth and for your total health. The friendly bacteria overrun the bacteria that you don’t want, and you’re left with vigorously healthy teeth and gums. This unparalleled product line will include the Safe Teeth Gel, the Safe Teeth Mouth Rinse and the Safe Teeth 15 Minute Whitening Pen.

The 15 Minute Whitening Pen from Safe Teeth could actually make you forget all about chemical whiteners. Friendly bacteria are supposed to be responsible for keeping your teeth white. But because of the damage caused by toothpaste and our inability to maintain healthy bacterial colonies in our mouth (due to diet and yes, toothpaste) they simply cannot do their job properly. As a society we’ve turned to chemicals to temporarily turn our teeth white -- which unfortunately makes our teeth brittle and unhealthy. The new Safe Teeth 15 Minute Whitening Pen addresses the problem by promoting the right kind of bacterial activity in your mouth. Use this product for two weeks, and see how white your teeth get — naturally!
